I've been reading so much lately. I feel like spending so much time on TikTok and my phone effects my ability to focus, so I'm trying to practice being more present and doing activities that challenge my brain, so I've been trying to read every night! I've always been a reader, but this month I've gotten through 8 books! I have a library card and just discovered Good Reads and so I've been having myself a time.
Last month I met the love of my life, AKA Tim Riggins… Friday Night Lights fans know! And if you haven't seen Friday Night Lights before, it is the perfect fall show.
Speaking of football, can we talk about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce? They have absolutely been consuming my life the last few days. They are going to be the power couple of the century, or we're getting the best breakup album ever and either way I'm here for it. I've been following the Kelce's since their Super Bowl stint and I just think they seem like the funnest family to be a part of. My favorite is the trend where girls are telling their boyfriends/husbands that, “Taylor put Travis on the map," and them totally freaking out about it. And have you seen that his jersey sales went up 400% and he gained 300K followers in a day? The power of that woman is insane!

Ticketmaster strikes again and I wasn't able to get Olivia Rodrigo tickets. I really miss when concert tickets used to be under $100 and you didn't have to fight so hard to get them… Anyways, Love is Embarrassing and Get Him Back are my two favorites off her new album. I feel like it's just so relatable and I love how she's owning that.
Traci and I signed our largest contract to date this month which is incredibly wild and so exciting.
Earlier this month we went to Chicago to meet with several clients. One of the meetings was us giving a 2 hour presentation to 6 attorneys reflecting on the work we are doing, our plan of action, and answering any questions - talk about intimidating but so freaking empowering once it was done. Traci and I are still so young (24 and 25) and to own our work in this way and have 6 incredibly successful and intelligent people be interested in our opinion and trust us with their company is the biggest honor and just so freaking cool.
We are working on a couple exciting collaborations with a trademark lawyer and aesthetic brand. Both of them will probably take a couple months to get off the ground but I think they will be really impactful for our clients.
I was doing a Peloton ride recently and Cody said, “If you own who you are no one can come for you," and I really liked it. This year I've really been focusing on doing more of what makes me happy and not giving an f what other people think because I keep reminding myself, no one probably even cares anyways so why bother?
The weather has been soooo nice lately! I love sitting on the porch, for the season it's turning into my office! Perks of WFH!
