12 Thoughts #4
I've been on a reading kick this month… 8 Books since April to be exact. It's mostly been Colleen Hoover, but I also read Carrie Soto is Back The Summer I Turned Pretty. I watched the show on Prime last year and loved it. There's just something about a cheesy “teenie-bopper” high school drama that I can always get into.
I finally got my very own Peloton bike. I started Peloton-ing when I was a live in nanny during Covid and have been scouring Facebook Marketplace for months looking for a bike for my apartment. I finally found a deal I couldn't turn down. My first two rides back were with Leanne and Cody. If you Peloton, who is your favorite?
Lately I've been loving the Instagram dumps everyone has been posting of sunsets, their pets, food, cool places they've been going to. It's so refreshing to see those little highlights captured and I love that Instagram is becoming less curated.
I just found out recently you can screen share on Facetime.
It's strawberry season in Southern Illinois so I made French Strawberry Cake. I've made it before and it is so light and yummy and easy!
Traci and I have been really busy in wrapping up client projects and starting new ones. We launched The Renewal website this month which was so exciting for us! We are accepting new clients again in June so if you'd like to work together, reach out!:)
Live music is my absolute favorite, there really isn't a concert I won't go to. I have a bunch of tickets this summer: Shania Twain, Billy Joel & Stevie Nicks, Tyler Childers, and Ed Sheeran are a few of them and I need to start picking outfits! I'm still trying to get those dang Taylor Swift tickets. Anyone else going to any summer concerts?
I love having fresh flowers on the counter, especially this time of year.
My sister and I have been binging Queer Eye season 7 and it just makes me feel warm and fuzzy every time. I hope that I can radiate half as much positivity as they do, if we all tried to be that kind and encouraging, the world would be a better place.
I'm planning to do a gallery wall behind the couch in my living room and I've been scouring Etsy for prints. I want each piece to mean something to me, so it's taking me forever to pick them out.
Today on my Snapchat memories I saw that we launched the On Brand Instagram 2 years ago today. It seems like so long ago and yesterday all at the same time.
I treated my mom to Tim McGraw tickets for Mother's Day and we stayed at The Last Hotel in St. Louis. It's gorgeous, has a rooftop pool, and is very centrally located. If you're planning a trip to STL I totally recommend!
I hope you have a fabulous weekend!
Cheers,
Sam
