Q: How do I create a “cohesive” feed?
A: Invest in and implement consistent branding: a logo, color palette, fonts, and a professional branding photoshoot.
Q: How often should I post on social media?
A: However often you can be most consistent. For most rookies, we recommend starting with 2-3 posts a week and then increasing post frequency as it becomes manageable.
Q: What analytics should I pay attention to?
A: On individual posts, look at how many saves and sends a post is getting. These people are paying closer attention to your content and are either sending it to someone they believe is interested, or have the intention of referring back to it.
In your professional dashboard on your Instagram account, you can analyze how many people are engaging with your entire profile, followers, and accounts reached.
If you are using a website host with good analytics (we recommend Squarespace), you can track where traffic is coming from and if that traffic is converting into sales.
